Commemorating the 20th anniversary with Renewed Commitment

Over the two decades since I founded TOCS in 1989, the overall standing of Public Relations has improved noticeably. In particular, after the economic bubble burst in the early 90s, client PR focus mainly shifted to corporate/marketing/issue communications from so-called media relations activities. More and more clients started seeking a strategic communications consultant rather than a media relations expert.

TOCS, as a key founder member of the PR Society of Japan, noted such changes and established itself as a strategic communications partner supporting the business/marketing objectives of clients in this ever-changing business world. Especially, in the area of healthcare, IT, corporate and overseas PR, TOCS has earned a good reputation for its expertise and experience over the years backed up by long-cultivated media/industry/government/association relations.

While representing the Japan operations of the Worldcom Group, the largest independent global PR network, we are delighted that the Group’s Asia Pacific region meeting will take place in Tokyo in October this year. With 2009 as the milestone anniversary year, we renew our commitment to constantly improve the quality of our services in order to deliver the right outcome and value to help optimize clients’ strategic communications initiatives.
